Day 0: Treatment Day
The procedure takes 60–90 minutes. Blood is drawn from the arm, centrifuged for 8 minutes, then the PRP is injected using a fine needle. A topical anaesthetic is applied beforehand, making the procedure virtually pain-free for most patients. You leave the clinic the same day.
Days 1–3: Immediate Post-Treatment
Mild swelling and bruising are normal and expected. Some patients experience increased sensitivity. Avoid sexual activity and strenuous exercise during this period. Recommended: begin gentle use of a vacuum erection device (VED) from day 3 to maximise blood flow to the treated tissue.
Weeks 1–4: Early Changes
Swelling fully resolves. Most patients begin noticing increased sensitivity and improved morning erections. Some experience a temporary decrease in erectile quality in weeks 2–3 as tissue remodelling begins — this is normal and temporary.
Weeks 4–8: Visible Improvements
This is the phase when most patients first report meaningful improvement in erectile firmness and duration. Enhanced sensitivity and sexual pleasure become more pronounced. Some patients begin to notice changes in girth at this stage.
Weeks 8–12+: Peak Results
Maximum results are typically achieved between weeks 8 and 12. Improvements in girth, firmness, stamina, and sensitivity are at their peak. This is the phase patients refer to when describing their 'before and after'. Results then plateau and gradually decline over the following 12–18 months.
