Standard Treatment Frequency
For most patients, a single P-Shot provides results lasting 12–18 months, after which a maintenance treatment may be considered. The standard recommendation is: one initial treatment, followed by a second treatment 3–6 months later if results were partial, or a maintenance treatment at 12–18 months when initial results begin to fade. There is no strict upper limit on how often the procedure can be performed safely.
When More Frequent Treatments May Be Needed
Some patients, particularly those with diabetes, advanced cardiovascular disease, or who are post-prostatectomy, may benefit from more frequent treatments — quarterly or every 6 months — as part of a comprehensive management programme. In these cases, the P-Shot acts less as a one-time fix and more as ongoing support for tissue health and erectile function maintenance.
Signs It's Time for Another P-Shot
The clearest indicator that a maintenance P-Shot would be beneficial is when you notice your results beginning to diminish — typically noticeable as a gradual return towards pre-treatment levels of erectile quality, sensitivity, or stamina. Most patients find this occurs around 12–18 months post-treatment. The optimal time for a maintenance P-Shot is when you first notice improvement beginning to diminish, rather than waiting until results have fully faded.
Cost of an Annual P-Shot Maintenance Programme
At our Turkey clinic, each P-Shot treatment (whether initial or repeat) costs £300 all-inclusive. An annual maintenance programme — one P-Shot per year — costs just £300/year in Turkey, compared to £1,200–£2,000/year in the UK. Even adding travel costs, the total annual programme in Turkey costs less than a single UK treatment, making sustained treatment economically feasible for the first time for many patients.
