P-Shot Side Effects and Risks

What are the side effects of the P-Shot?

Reported side effects in studies have generally been minor: temporary pain, tenderness, bruising, redness or swelling. Bleeding, haematoma and infection are possible, and small trials cannot reliably quantify rare events or long-term effects. Using your own blood avoids rejection but does not make the procedure risk-free.

Key fact: Reported adverse events in PRP studies have generally been minor, but trials are too small to define uncommon risks confidently. (International Journal of Impotence Research / PubMed, 2024; page updated )
